SUFP ST. PATRICKS DAY FOR ANGELS!

The Stand Up For Pits Foundation will once again be going to the Lancaster Animal Care Center to feed all the animals and have them photographed. The hope is by doing so it will help get them some extra time out of their kennels, extra love and delicious and nurtritous food and raise awareness which inspires people to HELP THE ANIMALS AT THIS SHELTER. The dogs are given 30 days to get out, they are fed one meal per day and due to lack of volunteers many don’t get out of their kennels for weeks. Until the Stand Up For Pits Foundation recently provided Kuranda beds, they were sleeping on concrete. The intake numbers at this shelter are out of control as are the kill numbers. We will continue to do what we can in order to get the dogs at Lancaster Animal Care Center seen and saved and we ask you all do the same. What is happening at the Lancaster Animal Care Center and ALL the shelters in and outside Los Angeles City and County cannot and should not ever be accepted as the “norm.” The killing of innocent adoptable sentient beings is intolerable and is a direct reflection of an extremely broken, compassionaless, lazy, greedy and cruel society. We ALL need to do our part to end this nightmare. Volunteer, adopt, foster, SUPPORT SPAY AND NEUTER PROGRAMS and never ever stop educating people. Report backyard breeders and if you see anyone dumping an animal record it and send it here. We will post it.

We are aware Lancaster is not a city shelter but the killing is happening in those too. So come on down Mayor and Governor! We’d love to see you and show you all the things you can do help!
