LA City shelters are NOT “No Kill.” The killing is up over  70% from last year but they continue to support the agenda and false narrative of another org leading people to believe it’s perfectly fine to dump their dogs at shelters.

Hold times when calling shelters can be well over an hour. Losing 111 shelter employees means less calls answered and more suffering death for animals in need.

Losing 111 shelter employees when the city and county has no Animal Cruelty Task Force means more dogs suffering, dying and enduring horrific abuse on Skid Row and elsewhere.

Losing 111 shelter employees means less backyard breeding, spay & neuter enforcment which means crippling the shelter system and killing of innocent adoptable dogs.

Dogs in LA CITY and COUNTY are not getting out of their kennels for weeks on end. Losing another 111 shelter employees means more dogs laying in their own shit & piss, getting no enrichment, geting sick, going kennel crazy which means more KILLING.

Losing another 111 shelter employees means volunteers will be expected to do more when they are already being silenced when voicing their concerns for the ethical treatment of animals and threatened to be let go if they speak publicly about what they see. They are under appreciated and without them the animals have NOTHING.

@mayorofla you, Staycee Dains, @gavinnewsom and every org up your ass who turns a blind eye to the horrors happening to the dogs in plain sight are all complicit to animal cruelty, abuse and murder. Every person who forces their dogs to fuck for profit and those who dump their dogs at shelters also have blood on their hands. Our society and city is a direct reflection of how broken, corrupt and sick humanity is. And lets be clear – this is not a political issue – NEITHER PARTY HAS DONE ANYTHING TO HELP THE ANIMALS FOR DECADES. So save the political rhetoric bullshit and focus on how you can help.
