SAVING LIVES NATIONWIDE IN LOVING MEMORY OF ANGEL

Spay & Neuter Angel Day is one of our programs that focusses on prevention and solution. The massive loss of innocent lives happpening daily in this country is 100% preventable if spay and neuter laws were enforced, backyard breeders stopped and if pet owners simply spayed and neutered their pets. A ban on breeding of all kinds would also help tremendousky but common sense is lost on those who profit off of forcing dogs to have sex so they can line their pockets. Adding to the population while millions of dogs are being slaughtered is about as pathetic and ignorant as it gets.

Just ONE unaltered female pit bull type dog and her offspring if also left unaltered can produce and estimated 67,000 dogs over a six year period. A simple spay or neuter can prevent that as well as many unwanted litters for years to come. Spaying and neutering a large dog cost a lot of money which makes it unrealistic for so many which is why Angel Day is such a gift to dogs and humans. The Stand Up For Pits Foundation spays and neuters pit bull type dogs FREE of charge in communities nationwide. We do not get government funding or large grants for this desperately needed effort and it is extremely costly. We are able to run this program through our Stand Up For Pits events, merchandise sales, merchant sponsorship campaigns and donations.
