Precious baby Fred has left medical boarding!!!!! He is completely healed from his neuter and is ready to paaaarrrrrty!!
Fred was found a few weeks ago abandoned and tied to a fence in downtown LA. He was laying among his feces and vomit in the heat all by himself. Once again the city and society failed this baby – so good samaratins stepped in to save his life. They got him off the street, into the car and took him directly to our vet where he recieved all the diagnostics and medical care he needed. We got him neutered and a couple days later we moved him to a different hospital for 10 days where he could fully heal and get more exercise. He left there yesterday, did a party stop at Petco for some supplies and food and is now at a daycare/training facility where he will learn basic commands, be introduced to dogs, get to play and have fun! We have funded two weeks for him there along with his training sessions. We may do an extra week as well depending on how he does.
Fred is located in Orange County, is approximately 6 months old, up to date on shots, neutered and could not be more loving. He is only about 55 pounds. Yesterday was the first day of his new life and we could not be happier to be a part of it. This baby earth angel is available for adoption now and we are also looking for anyone willing to foster. If you would like to adopt this land seal or are interested in fostering please contact our friends at Orange County Pit Bull Rescue. They will be handling Fred’s foster and adoption applications.
Donations towards Fred’s care can be made here – on the home page as SUFP is funding all his care. Thank you all so much for being a part of this sweet boys journey to happily ever after.
